
After 980 hours, I am still learning new strategies, experiencing different situations and much more. You're right in the idea that you probably won't learn anything new other than improvement, but you are wrong about having seen everything there is to be seen. You're right in the idea that all EU4 games follow the same mindset ''ally big countries, declare war and slowly become stronger and blob.'' However, the diversity of ways to do this in, and the way those diversities play out different every game because of different situations, turns these seemingly simple and straightforward goals and gameplay into really big amounts of replay value and different situations each game, atleast for me.

As of yet, I still haven't tried any mods yet. As a player who has almost 1000 hours on EU4, i'll share some of my thoughts as to why this game still keeps me interested.
